    First Forgejo release of SchildiChat Android Next with full MSC2545 sticker & emoticon support.

    Based on Element X Android, in the tradition of SchildiChat for Android.

    What's different from Element X

    • Sticker & emoticon image packs (MSC2545) from room or global packs:
      • Send stickers via a sticker button in the composer
      • Insert emoticons inline from the emoji picker's custom-emoticon tab
      • Use emoticons as reactions (rendered as images in the timeline)
      • In-picker search + switch between packs via tabs
      • Per-pack usage selector (stickers / emoticons / both)
      • Manage globally enabled packs under Settings → "Sticker & emoticon packs"
    • Plus the rest of the SchildiChat feature set — see FEATURES.md.

    Upstream base: Element X Android ex_26_7_1.

    Sticker & emoticon image packs (MSC2545) — new feature:

    • Send stickers via a sticker button in the composer
    • Insert emoticons inline from the emoji picker's custom-emoticon tab (rendered by HTML clients, shown as :shortcode: text elsewhere)
    • Use emoticons as reactions, rendered as images in the timeline
    • Search within a pack and switch between packs via tabs in both pickers
    • Toggle whether a pack is enabled for all rooms from the picker's overflow menu
    • Create / edit / delete room image packs (delete is admin/owner-gated); choose each pack's usage — stickers, emoticons, or both
    • Manage globally enabled sticker & emoticon packs in Settings ("Sticker & emoticon packs"): list, remove, re-enable

    Rendering & interop fixes:

    • Timeline stickers use ContentScale.Fit with a 160×160dp cap — no more clipping of tall stickers or oversized stickers on wide screens
    • Packs carry per-image width/height so other clients (e.g. Element X) size them correctly
